The 2022 Toyota GR86 is the newest predecessor to the original Scion FRS and later the Toyota GT86. Now that the Supra is built in partnership with Gazoo Racing (GR), the 86 is the latest Toyota sports car to get the racing treatment.
The 2022 GR86 comes in two trim levels: Base and Premium.
The 2022 Toyota GR86 comes with a 2.4-liter boxer engine that was co-designed with Subaru. This engine produces 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. Every GR86 is rear-wheel drive. For the ultimate driving experience, a six-speed manual transmission is standard and a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters is optional. The 2022 GR86 sprints from 0-60 mph in just 6.1 seconds when equipped with the manual transmission.
