2022 Toyota 4Runner Adds TRD Sport Grade
The Toyota 4Runner already has TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium and TRD Pro grades as part of its lineup. For the 2022 model year, the 4Runner is adding the TRD Sport grade to round out its impressive group of Toyota Racing Division warriors. The 2022 4Runner TRD Sport is eye-catching thanks to its hood scoop and 20-inch wheels, plus it offers both rear- and four-wheel drive for even more awesomeness.
TRD SPORT CAPABILITY: To get the most out of everyday commutes, the 4Runner TRD Sport is about the quality of the ride as it’s equipped with the Cross-Linked Relative Absorber System suspension to enhance on-road handling. It automatically adjusts the damping force of shock absorbers when driving over bumpy surfaces or when cornering. The 4Runner TRD Sport is available with either 2WD or part-time 4WD with a two-speed transfer case. Like all 2022 4Runners, the TRD Sport features a 4.0-liter V6 engine that makes 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque.
TRD SPORT STYLE: Inside and outside, the 2022 4Runner TRD Sport exudes its own unique style and design with TRD Sport badges placed on the C-pillars and the TRD logo stitched on the seats and custom floor mats. The exterior has color-keyed accents on the grille, rocker panels and body molding, plus the signature TRD-style hood scoop, front spoiler and black roof rails. The interior is decked out with a leather-trimmed steering wheel, black SofTex-trimmed seats with unique gray contrast stitching and heated front seats.
