2022 Toyota Tundra: What We Know So Far

Here at Landers Toyota NWA in Rogers, AR, we are eager to view the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra! The images released by Toyota show the 2022 Tundra bolstering an aggressive front bumper and grille flanked by cutaways underneath the headlights. It’s an interesting, bold evolution of the sort of styling Toyota has been exploring lately. 
 

CHASSIS UP: The 2022 Toyota Tundra is expected to roll out on the company's latest truck chassis, which is reportedly named the Toyota New Global Architecture-F (TNGA-F). The high-strength steel should benefit the Tundra's body-on-frame underpinnings. For a more quality ride, the 2022 Tundra is supposedly sport coil springs in place of the old leaf spring version. 
 

TUNDRA POWER: While we don’t know much about the size of the engine, we do know that the 2022 Tundra will be powered by an iForce MAX. The current Tundra is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 and a six-speed automatic transmission. From what we’ve gathered, this new iForce MAX could be a hybrid drivetrain. Toyota has announced plans for a hybrid pickup, but we haven’t heard if it will be the Tundra or a different track altogether. 
 

TUNDRA TECH: As for infotainment, the 2022 Tundra will feature the latest Entune infotainment technology. This includes a large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a JBL audio system, as well as wireless charging. Toyota's full Safety Sense suite of advanced features is sure to be available, too. This suite includes Road Sign Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Alert, and Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection.
