If you keep up-to-date with our blog, you’ll know that almost a year ago we wrote a quick piece on the all-new Toyota bZ4X concept’s debut. If not, well we won’t hold it against you. We at Landers Toyota NWA want to introduce you to the new EV Toyota has created: the 2023 Toyota bZ4X. Let’s take a quick look at this exciting new SUV.

The 2023 Toyota bZ4X has two trims to choose from: the XLE and the Limited. The 2023 bZ4X will be the first Toyota to be equipped with the all-new e-TNGA platform. TNGA stands for Toyota New Global Architecture. This introduction hopes to facilitate more EVs with powerful performance and better stability. Each bZ4X relies on a powerful electric powertrain. With one electric motor, front-wheel-drive equipped bZ4Xs will have 201 horsepower and 196 lb.-ft. of torque. FWD versions have an estimated driving range of around 252 miles. The 2023 bZ4X has an available all-wheel drive with X-MODE. This capability option gives you, the driver, more control over less than ideal roads and driving conditions. AWD will use two electric motors and reach 214 hp with 248 lb.-ft. of torque. AWD models have an estimated driving range of 228 miles. The 2023 bZ4X does come with regenerative braking with a boost mode.

The interior of the 2023 bZ4X has a standard 12.3-inch audio multimedia touchscreen situated firmly above the center console. Within the center console, you’ll find a wireless charger, four USB-C ports, and one USB-A port. The touchscreen itself offers the Human Machine Interface to make the drive easier and with a simple “Hey, Toyota.” With this, you’ll have more access to your environment without ever taking your hands off the wheel. The bZ4X is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, with access to a three-month trial of SiriusXM Platinum radio. Whether you use Sirius, or an app on your smartphone, know you’ll get the best song quality with the available JBL Premium Audio System. This system puts nine speakers around the cabin with a subwoofer to provide you with the perfect listening experience.

Available for a more comfortable ride, front-seat riders will have access to heated and ventilated seats. Each passenger will have ample legroom and can enjoy the sky view with the panoramic moonroof. With the specialized suspension system, sound-insulation, and sound-absorbing materials, you and your passengers will be able to block out exterior noise that isn’t wanted.

The 2023 bZ4X is an SUV of firsts. The new Toyota will also present the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system. This new safety system comes with Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Automatic High Beams.
