Beaver Lake and Dam

Just 27 minutes east of downtown Rogers is one of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers’ achievements, the Beaver Lake and Dam. There are hours upon hours of outdoor enjoyment to be had at Beaver Lake. The breathtaking scenery includes towering bluffs, lush foliage and cool spots to kick off your sandals and enjoy the water. There are 28 recreational areas at Beaver Lake and commercial marinas with available boat rentals and fishing guides.

 

Greers Ferry Lake

One of Arkansas’ five largest lakes, Greers Ferry Lake is among the foothills of the Ozarks between Clinton and Heber Springs, AR. The lake is three and half hours southeast of Rogers. It is counted as one of the state’s favorite spots for great fishing, water sports, boating and camping. Greers Ferry Lake is surrounded by campgrounds and commercial parks, along with excellent lodging, lakeside resorts and fine restaurants. The reservoir has also served as the national model for environmental cleanliness.

 

Lake Ouachita State Park

The state park offers the largest lake in Arkansas which consists of 40,000 acres of clear, clean water surrounded by the scenic Ouachita National Forest. Lake Ouachita State Park has 93 campsites, some right on the water, along with cabin rentals.
