The 2022 Toyota GR86 was developed with corners in mind. The 2022 Toyota GR86 is a predecessor to the original Scion FRS and was later followed by the Toyota GT86. Each of these vehicles were co-developed with Subaru so you’ll see many similarities of the Subaru BRZ with the Toyota GR86.

Each GR86 is powered with a 2.4-liter boxer four-cylinder engine producing 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. The power hits the road exclusively with rear wheel drive and you have your choice of a six-speed manual transmission for driving purists or a six-speed automatic transmission with dynamic rev management and paddle shifters. The GR86 can sprint from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds with the manual transmission or 6.6 seconds with the automatic transmission.

The GR86 is a corner carver and you can conquer back roads and the race track alike thanks to performance features like a Torsen limited-slip differential, multi-link rear suspension, functional front bumper air inlet ducts, front-wheel arch air outlet vents, sport seats with side bolsters to keep you in place, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, and a driver-centric cabin with toggle switch controls right at your fingertips.

GR stands for Gazoo Racing. Earning its GR badge means the GR86 comes track-tested with the soul of a true sports car. This passion extends from the iconic Toyota Supra so we guarantee getting behind the wheel of the GR86 will put a smile on your face.
